A 2015 Taylor 612ce First Edition Grand Concert 12-Fret acoustic/electric guitar in excellent condition with original “First Edition” hardshell case. This is a beautiful instrument that plays like a dream and sounds amazing. Taylor’s 12-fret Grand Concerts shift the neck’s position to the body, which drives the top in a way that adds extra midrange punch. Together with the revoiced design details of the 600 Series, players are in for a treat. The smaller body and short-scale neck make for an intimate and comfortable playing experience, while the tonal refinements to the bracing and other materials serve up an inspiring mix of warmth, richness and volume, especially for a small-body guitar. Aesthetic upgrades include a rich, hand-rubbed “Brown Sugar” stain on the back and sides, a new fretboard inlay that carries over to include an inlaid ebony backstrap, ebony and grained ivoroid trim, and a striped ebony pickguard. A Venetian cutaway and Taylor’s Expression System® 2 pickup add playing range and performance versatility. Exclusive First Edition features include Adirondack spruce braces that boost the tonal output, a headstock inlay, a First Edition guitar label, and a commemorative First Edition nameplate on the deluxe hardshell case. Checked by our in-house technician, the 612ce has very light fretwear and some minor playwear. There is a small ding on the right-side of the lower bout on the top.
