Item Description

Brazilian Rosewood has been prized by luthiers and musicians for generations for its full bodied tone and its gorgeous looks. This special edition 810e utilizes this amazing tonewood for its back and sides for a look and sound that simply has to be experienced. An ultra-thin gloss finish gives the wood a chance to really breathe, leading to a more open sound and allowing the aging process to go unhindered. The updated 810e is also constructed with a protein glue that enhances the tonal transfer between parts. This big, bold sound is the amplified with Taylor's groundbreaking Expression System 2 electronics. Alongside the tone upgrade, this 810 has been given an aesthetic upgrade to match. Appointments include Rosewood purfling that outlines the top and frames the Abalone rosette, a Rosewood pickguard, a new "Element" fretboard inlay, and an Ebony fingerboard.
