USED 2012 Paul Reed Smith Guitars P22 10 Top Quilt in Vintage Smoke Burst

Here we have a USED 2012 Paul Reed Smith Guitars P22 in Vintage Smoke Burst that was traded in towards another PRS. We sold this guitar new to the customer about 3 years ago. It is in perfect playing condition and has no repairs, mods, etc. Cosmetically we would rate this guitar as a players grade. There are a few minor pick scratches and tiny dings throughout the body (none on the neck), and one visible scratch on the back which is photographed. None of the cosmetic issues reflect the sound or integrity of the instrument. There is slight fretware on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th frets under the G, B, and E strings but they still have plenty of life. The purchase of this guitar includes the original hardshell case and we will set the guitar up to your spec upon request.

22 Frets, Infinite Range of Tones

The P22 is the company’s original piezo-equipped solidbody guitar, providing musicians the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric guitar tones in one instrument. PRS and LR Baggs partnered more than a decade ago to design the piezo system found in PRS’s original hollowbody models. The new system retains the same circuit design as the original, maintaining tonal authenticity and real world practicality. There are two output jacks on the P22, allowing guitarists to plug into their favorite electric guitar or acoustic guitar amp or DI into a soundboard. By utilizing the separate blend control, the tone of the P22’s 58/15 pickups can also be combined with acoustic sounds through a single output.

The P22 comes standard with a figured maple top, mahogany back, mahogany neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, and a redesigned PRS/LR Baggs piezo system. Uncovered 58/15 pickups round out this guitar’s specifications and help define the P22’s voice.
