Vintage 1959 Fender Pre-CBS Stratocaster Body!
These do not come around often folks!
From one of the most magical years in American guitar production comes this original 1959 Strat body!
This 1959 Strat came to us with all original parts: the neck, neckplate, tuners, pickups, pots and plastics are available in our other auctions
This killer body was professionally refinished many years ago in a very accurate and period correct three tone sunburst. The neck pocket was stripped, but the original finish remains in the cavities.
The original body pencil date of 2/59 (February 1959) remains in tact! The refinish was very meticulous and the original "nail holes" still remain, the "dowel marks" are visible on the back of the body as well.
The neck on this guitar dated to March of 1959 and the pots had 1st week of 1959 date codes
This is a VERY early 1959 body and correct for your single ply guard, maple neck strat.
We played this assembled and it sounded INCREDIBLE.
