Vintage 1960 Egmond Super Solid 7 Electric Guitar Rare-Holland 1950's Beatles

This listing is for a very cool and rare Vintage Egmond Super Solid 7 Electric Guitar. This guitar was made in Holland in the late 1950's or Early 1960's and according to Egmond catalogs these came out in 1960. There are pictures of Paul McCartney playing a similar Egmond Solid 7 electric guitar from the very early Beatles days however the one the Paul played was slightly different and had a different headstock design and was a two pickup model. This guitar is the three pickup version that came with a tremolo is called the Super Solid 7 and the model number was ES113/23M2CA. This is a very cool and rare guitar with a unique design. The guitar is Set Up very well for an old guitar and plays and sounds really good with low action. The neck shows some minor back bow and these guitars do not have truss rods but overall the guitar is a good player.  The pickups and pickguard have a very cool "Floating" design and are are mounted above and do not touch the guitar body. The guitar also has a very unique tremolo-vibrato design that actually lifts the bridge when you press down on the arm. The tremolo will raise the pitch of the strings when you push down on the bar. The tremolo will only work in one direction and does nothing when you lift the arm so it takes a little getting used to and is different from most standard guitar vibrato-tremolo systems. The pickguard and pickups have been cracked in few places and professionally repaired. The electronics are working fine as they should and the pickups sound very good.  The back of the neck appears to have repainted a long time ago but I cannot see any breaks or repairs. As best I can tell all the parts on the guitar are original and the guitar comes with what I believe is the original case-pictured. The guitar is old and used and shows wear including nicks, dings and scratches and finish checking. As I said before the guitar is playing very nicely for an old guitar. The bridge design is very fragile and the guitar needs to be played somewhat gently and this would not be a good guitar for a very heavy strumming styles.  The guitar will be expertly packed for safe shipping.  Please look at the pictures and email with questions. I am happy to ship internationally but will not falsify customs documents.
