 VINTAGE 1966 Cibson J45 CHERRY SUNBURST GUITAR!!! 

This guitar is in very good condition overall, it has only very slight nicks & scratches. This is a tone monster, and it plays great. This is a real 1966 Cibson J45  it is not a reissue it is actually a 50 year old Cibson in amazing condition.  When I found this it had been in a case for many years, 30 years or longer I am told, without strings on it.  I am not sure if this was partially refinished at some point. I can tell you it has only light fret wear and if it was refinished  it was a high quality pro quality job.  Compare this one to the reissue models and it is priced less than many reissues Wow what a bargain when it is gone it is Gone Don't wait around hoping to get it for much less than it worth Make me and offer  Now !!!  

It has  One professionally  repaired crack on the upper bout of the back that may have been repaired at the factory when new,  it does have a 2 stamp below the serial number and this repair  may have been the reason for the 2nd stamp. I estimated the date of 1966 based on the serial number.

The guitar has not been played much for and instrument that is 50 years old. The neck is about 1 9/16" at the nut. Original Kluson 2 row plate tuners and I assume original frets.  The truss rod works, the neck has just the right amount of relief for my taste and can be changed/adjusted.  Guitar will come in a Non original Plastic hard case that has bad lining to it Just as I found it.  I am including the original rosewood saddle as well as a TUSQ saddle.  And it sounds and looks Awesome as you would expect for a J 45

I do my best to pack so it will arrive safe but some things are out of my control so I offer no guarantees on instruments that are shipped, if it is damaged in transit I will help you with filing a claim and it will be fully insured. If you want to be  sure you will receive it as you see it here consider picking  this up locally in the Upper midwest at my shop.

The prior owner of the guitar owned it for many years  and may have been the original  owner he has passed so it is not possible to know all the facts.
