ITEM: Vintage Fender Redondo 1969 USA Acoustic Guitar
This beauty is from the first generation of Fender acoustics that were made in the USA. 
This is a parlor-sized acoustic, with a full size bolt-on electric-feeling neck with the classic Strat "six on a side" headstock.
These American-made Fender acoustics are getting harder to find as they have historically been undervalued,
but are now getting a second look, thanks to Fender's California Series reissues of several classic 1960s models!

14 3/8" wide, single bound top, unbound back, 25.5" scale, dot fingerboard inlays.
Introduced in 1969.
Discontinued 1971.

Condition: The guitar is in excellent playing condition. (See photos for condition) The bridge is secure and is not lifting.
All original hardware, but the nut and bridge saddle have been replaced. There is a significant area of wear on the left outer bout (see photo) which has worn through the finish to the wood. Also, the original owner wrote his name on the back of the headstock. Otherwise, other then a few minor dents and scratches, this is a beauty.
The neck is very comfortable and it has nice low action.
The sound is very chime-y and the aged wood sounds beautiful. The guitar was recently set-up and given love at McCabes in Santa Monica.
McCabes is one of the oldest guitar stores in California, and is a concert venue for acoustic acts as well.
James Taylor has his acoustics done there. This guitar can gig/record as soon as you receive it. Comes with a new acoustic case, which we will pad and pack safely.
