What makes this guitar special:  100% original & in great shape for its age.  The guitar offers a beautiful, natural acoustic resonance & the double humbuckers produce warm, rich tones with wonderful sustain.  The natural finish shows off the beauty of the wood grain & the slender maple neck is super comfortable to play, even hours on end.  Professionally inspected by the experts at Cream City Music & set up by our our own luthier, so it plays & sounds fantastic!

Cosmetic Condition:  Good honest play wear on a 40 year old guitar, with a used but not abused look to it - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & finish checking.  Overall the guitar has an ultra cool vintage vibe with a gorgeous patina.

Neck:  Nicely rounded, slender profile maple neck with skunk stripe.  Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays.  Typical small frets show very little wear.  Bullet truss rod & double string trees.  F-tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. 

Body:  Semi-hollow ash body with single F-hole.  String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles.  3-ply white pickguard has aged nicely into more of a cream color & is in great shape with no cracks.  Guitar weighs 6 lbs 7.3 oz.

Pickups:  Original Wide Range humbuckers.  Bridge - 10.69K ohms; Neck - 10.65K ohms.  Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs; 3-way toggle switch with black "top hat" cap.  All electronics are in good working condition, however, we noticed the volume pot no longer has its full range.  It sounds great turned up all the way, but as you back off on the volume it completely drops off around the 7 or 8 marker.  The tone pot works fine.  Both pots are original to the guitar, so it's likely the internal wiper inside the volume pot has just worn out over the years.

Case:  Original hardshell case included.  The case is also in great shape with only a small portion of the Fender logo missing on the outside.
