Vintage 1980's Hendrick Generator Guitar Pickguard Billy Gibbons SRV PROJECT

PAYPAL ONLY.  This is an original early 80's pickguard for a Hendrick Generator guitar.  Might be a few people who remember this guitar maker.  He is from Texas and made guitars for Billy Gibbons, Willie Nelson, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Rudolf Schenker and Stevie Ray Vaughn.  When the Cibson plant closed in Kalamazoo, he employed some workers there to make Hendrick guitars, right before they started the Heritage company.  You can see it looks a little like an Explorer.  Supposedly less than 100 guitars were made, and most of them were sold to rock stars.  I personally have only seen one original Hendrick guitar in person and that was at a guitar show.  Pretty rare.  This is an original pickguard that looks like it was never installed on a guitar, judging from the lack of pickwear and scratches around the screw holes, probably NOS, but I'll say used condition, because it shows minor wear from storage.  It is a single-ply creme or off-white color.  There is a film of dirt on it and some stains & scuffs that probably will polish right off, but I left it alone in case someone prefers it in this condition.  Backside shows soiling, see pics.  No cracks or problems.  Please note the detail in the neck pocket area, this is original and is for the fingerboard extension.  Cool piece of guitar history.  The last pic is from the internet just to show what a Hendrick Generator looks like--no, the guitar is NOT INCLUDED.  Just the pickguard, as shown.  Hard to find if you have a Hendrick Generator without a pickguard!  Or if you don't have the guitar, this would be an awesome piece to have autographed.....something to think about!  THEN think what you would have.  This pickguard is clearly described and all the faults are mentioned and described with photos, as well.  All sales on vintage items are final, no returns or refunds, what you see is what you get.  Shipping is $6.00 USA, $15.50 International.  Payment is by Paypal only, please.  Buy with confidence, my 14th year on eBay, people seem to like my stuff!  Thanks, Jeff
