Vintage 1980's PEAVEY T-15 Made in USA. 23" Short Scale Electric Guitar & Case

Early 1980's Peavey T-15 electric guitar - made in USA. Known in the USA as the 'Mississippi Mustsng'. Very rare in the UK.

The scale is 23", so it's a fairly short scale. This makes it very easy to play if you need or just like a smaller guitar, but it's great fun to play if you normally choose a Strat or Tele.

The body is finished in metallic mocha, very rare finish and very period correct for late 70's and early 80's.

Twin Peavey Super Ferrite pickups. They are quite chunky in size single coils. They sound half way between a P-90 and a Telecaster.

Maple neck and fretboard. Very slim C profile, medium chunky frets, (very minimal wear). Genuine Kluson Deluxe tuners.

Cast alloy top nut and bridge and saddles. Can be strung from the rest of the bridge or from underneath it. 

It has a few dings and light scratches - nothing too unsightly. The Pickguard has a couple of cracks around the control knob area. A previous owner has applied glue to secure the cracks. It doesn't look bad, but replacement guards are on offer on ebay if you wanted to change it.

It plays really well, nice and light but doesn't feel cheap in any way. It feels and plays like a small Tele, rather than a Mustang. 

You try and find a USA Tele or Mustang for £300!

Hard case is good quality, but not original. Some originally came with a small amp in the case.

Bags of character, American build quality, very rare and I think....a bargain!
