Sigma DT-3 dreadnaught style acoustic guitar, in good condition. Gonna take a guess here, I'm guessing it was made in the mid 1980's, given the stamping on the inside. As I understand it, production of these guitars began in Korea in 1984, and the "Made In Korea" information was stamped on the back brace.This one is consistent with the way the early Korean guitars were marked.

Just got this beauty back from my favorite luthier. He replaced the nut, lowered the action, re-glued one of the braces, generally set up the guitar. Plays very nicely, sounds great. Beautiful "flamed" wood on the guitar, I think the sides look especially gorgeous. The guitar has a few blemishes on the front, and the headstock has gotten a little scuffed. In fact, it came back from the luthier with either a scratch or a finish crack on the front, not sure which it is.Nothing that affects the playability, tone, or structural integrity of the guitar.

The one downside to this instrument is that not all the tuners match. There are two of one kind, and three of another, and one of yet another (see pictures). A new set of tuners would fix that forever, but it is certainly very playable as is, more of a cosmetic issue than anything else.

It unfortunately didn't come to me in a case or bag, so it won't come to you in one either. It will be very securely packaged.
