Washburn Mighty Idol Series takes on a new, sleeker image with the adoption of a narrower silhouette on their mahogany and spalted maple bodies. Mahogany has a rich, deep sound to it, that has a time honored tradition as a tone wood commonly used for the highest standard of guitar manufacturing. Spalted Maple is a strain of maple that has a very wild, and unique look with no two sections of the tree ever looking quite like another, it has a very focused tone and contributes greatly to the sustain and attack of a guitar. This guitar is also equipped with the industry standard Tune-O-Matic Style bridge, and stop tail piece, and Washburn designed Humbucking pickups, these guitars have a feel and a sound all their own. The Mighty Idol features a more traditional, time-honored single cutaway body style and a familiar 24.75" scale length for easy playing and big, bold, classic rock tones.
