This vintage all wood acoustic guitar is made by the Cort Company which has been around since the 1960's. This particular guitar is an AJ850TF (Complete Number is AJ-850TF00104926, Made In China). Still has the original tag inside the instrument. This particular model was discontinued in 1999. Although this guitar was purchased in the early 1990's and is vintage, it is in excellent condition. There are very little imperfections (1 small dot nick in the back, but just cosmetic and doesn't effect the sound - really not noticeable) and almost looks brand new. This beautiful instrument approximately measures 41" long x 16" wide at the widest part of the base and weighs approxmiately 8 pounds and 10 ounces (including the Fender Case and Book). 

This acoustic guitar is made of wood in a dreadnought-size body done in mahogany body back and sides, spruce body top, black binding, tortoiseshell pick guard with a round sound hole. The fingerboard is done in rosewood with a set neck and the neck joins the body at the 14th fret. There are dot fingerboard position markers with 20 frets, a rosewood bridge and a tuner layout with three on each side. This is a six string acoustic guitar strung with steel (not nylon) strings.
The AJ 850 TF was the Cort Western Series. This instrument not only has a beautiful, classic look it also has a great sound and is quite easy to tune. The guitar is great for anyone just beginning to play the guitar.

Also included is a deluxe, padded vintage Fender guitar case/holder gig, backpack bag. This sturdy and reliable case is lightweight (approximately a little over 3 pounds) and is done in all black with black zipper closures. There are two large zip pockets on the front for extra items with the official Fender Logo metal plate shown in the center. This case is also vintage and is in excellent condition ( approximately 44-1/4" long x 20" wide). There are two side strap holders and two backpack straps on the back. The hardware buckles and swivel clips are all metal (not plastic) and are done in a dark metal to match the black case. Inside one pocket there is an old (a bit worn and used) "Guitar Case Chord Book" which gives simple instructions on playing and tuning your guitar.

This is truly a great choice for anyone who is looking for a cost effective instrument with quality workmanship. This vintage set is just sitting waiting to be owned by someone who loves to play acoustic music on a simple yet classic western instrument. It would be a great addition to someone's collection or a really exciting set for a beginner's first musical instrument gift !
