A well done nitrocellulose finish allows a guitar to vibrate more naturally and offers a sheen that is glassy without being artificial looking. This absolutely breathtaking Dove boasts an ebony nitro finish that adds an up-scale appearance to the instrument. Complementing the ebony fretboard, the ebony finish also really makes the beautiful pickguard, mother-of-pearl inlays, and gold Grover Keystone tuners pop. This system features a natural and woody-sounding pickup and low profile controls for volume and tone, which are located conveniently in the soundhole. Hand-painted and inlaid decor
When you see this exquisitely hand-painted pickguard there will be very little doubt that you're staring at an iconic Gibson Dove acoustic-electric guitar. The detail of the design simply has to be seen first-hand to be believed. An expertly inlaid mother-of-pearl dove perched on a branch completes the pickguard's ornamentation. Multi-ply binding beautifully outlines the body - both top and back -, fretboard, and headstock. And a set of gold Grover tuners stand out against the ebony for a regal look.
