I just HAD to get a Martin D12-28, which is such a major improvement over the Takamine 12-string (laminated top) that I bought in the early1980s. This Martin absolutely BOOMS with depth, tone & clarity! Couldn't stop playin' it for hours! When it comes to acoustic guitars, nothin' beats a Martin.
An overall incredible instrument. This guitar is built for those who recognize overall quality; it is plain, masterfully built, and produces a sound that is totally unique. No pick-up needed. This fills the room without enhancement. I have a $10,000 D45 which is gorgeous.
